Loosely based on Thomas Pynchon’s Vineland, follows washed‑up revolutionary Bob (DiCaprio) – minding his business and living off‑grid with his daughter – when his nemesis returns after 16 years, forcing a reunion of ex‑radicals in a desperate rescue mission. The film was shot on 35 mm film using VistaVision cameras by cinematographer Michael Bauman, marking his second collaboration with Anderson following Licorice Pizza. Also features a soundtrack by regular collaborator, composer Jonny Greenwood.
